Are you confused by the reading levels, with letters, numbers, or a combination of both, that your child’s teacher talks about? Do the terms DRA, emergent literacy, and anecdotal records & evidence put your head in a spin? Are you unsure that the reading and writing support that you’re giving at home is really working? THIS is a course for you!

In this course, the reading mastery process will be outlined and “teacher speak” demystified. Parents and caregivers, you will receive proven practices to maximize their child’s literacy (reading, writing, and speaking) growth. You will be able to escape the reading level and writing milestone confusion; gain clarity on what the research really says about literacy development; and be empowered to advocate for your child’s best literacy experience.

  • Two hour workshop

  • Strategies for every reading stage

  • Book lists

  • Bi-weekly Office Hours
